Question 1

How far ahead do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

You can book as early or as last-minute as you need. Same-day and next-day moves are often available, but booking a few weeks ahead gives you the best choice of dates and times.

Question 2

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

We quote per move rather than publishing a rate, because the honest number depends on how much there is, how far it goes, how much access there is at both ends, and whether you want packing. Leave your number and we will call you back the same working day, go through those details, and send you a real figure in writing.

Question 3

What do I need to do before moving day?

Accepted Answer

If you are packing yourself, have the boxes sealed and labelled with the room they are going to before we arrive. That is the single biggest thing that keeps a move short. Clear a path to the door, reserve parking near the entrance if you are on a busy street, and keep anything you need that day with you rather than on the truck. We will tell you anything specific when we confirm your booking.

Question 4

Is there anything you will not move?

Accepted Answer

We can move almost anything that is legal, safe, and able to be transported. For valuables, passports, and medication, we recommend keeping them with you during the move.

Question 5

Do you handle stairs, apartments and tight access?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is routine work. Tell us the floor, whether there is an elevator, and anything awkward about the access when you request your quote, and it is priced in from the start. Access discovered on the day is how moves run long and quotes stop being accurate.
